Description:
This session will focus on responding effectively to student writing, breaking down prompts for both argumentative and informational essays, as well as addressing common areas of difficulty for students with both essay types. We will also try to squeeze in a brief introduction to TABE 11 & 12 (reading). Prior to attending, please read the article, “Developing Confident Writers in HSE Classrooms” (which can be found in your binder at the beginning of section 2), and be prepared to report back to the group about your experiences with some of the mini-lessons you tried out since our last training.
***YOU must bring your binder if you attended the 1st session. Binders will only be available for NEW participants.***
